Billionaire Mind & Think Big
I would say I have a billionaire mind. I always tell myself that I am rich and I am going to be a billionaire. I would have my own Ludwig Tower just like the billionaire Donald Trump have his Trump Tower. I always model how he thinks. I practiced thinking big.
When I started to be serious in really getting rich, I did my best to know everything about business. I first told my parents to retire and start doing business because they might regret in the future if they would just rely on their SSS, insurance and pension plans. Most especially the stock market crash was predicted in the book Why We Want You To Be Rich. It didn't yet happen when I told them to retire. A few months after it did crash. Fortunately, my parents followed my advise.
We started with a single house rental property and improved the farm my mother inherited so we could profit from it and at the same time learn business. It wasn't an easy endeavor. It was almost like an ordeal.
There was never a day we weren't fighting and shouting at each other. My mother would say,"Your father didn't do anything." And my father would say,"Your mother lack plans and that's why things move so slow and now it's a disaster." (Luckily, we finished the two businesses and are now running but didn't have much financial results). I realized then on I needed more leadership skills. I can only do it when I would design my learning environment just like the environment of Robert Kiyosaki had. Robert had his Rich Dad as his business mentor. I decided to look for a mentor.
Looking for a mentor wasn't easy. I met one or two but there doesn't seem to have a follow through. While looking for someone to teach me, I decided to follow just how Robert started his journey. I pursued sales. I sold tubao's, sarongs, and malongs. I sold it in our office. Thinking about it right now, I couldn't imagine I did that. I was really eager to learn.
I felt I'm not learning enough. I stopped the selling idea and considered franchising. I thought, if I cannot find a business mentor, at least I would be learning how a business system works. Franchises were expensive. I also considered going into traditional business while I gather capital for franchise. I was thinking of starting a badminton court. As I was searching, thinking and giving my best to really learn, I bumped into a business community.
I found in the community everything that I have been looking for: business mentors to guide me, franchise to learn business systems and, more importantly, leadership training. It enhanced how I can really think big by having an environment of real big thinkers!
Today, I would say, I have gained more leadership and business skills. And I really love in teaching them to more and more aspiring entrepreneurs. Ludwig Tower will rise very soon!
Cheers!
